Mysuru: A woman from Benipura in Hunsuru Taluk has developed a strange disease wherein stones fall from her eyes and thus unable to come out of her house.
Vijaya, a woman from Bennipura Village in Bilikere Hobli when she went to Challahalli Primary Health Centre Medical Officer Dr. Mamta for treatment, she was advised to seek treatment by an ophthalmologist.
Vijaya, who is suffering from eye problems, often had headaches for which she had to undergo treatment. In the recent past, when there was a headache, the adhesive swells in the form of a liquid would fall from the eyes. Later, this became hard and stone-like. On receiving information about the incident, Neha, a teacher from Challahalli, took Vijaya to Challahalli Hospital. She was informed there that it was a strange eye problem. However, she was also asked not to panic. They too asked her to seek treatment from an ophthalmologist.
