Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah lashed out at V. Somanna who was the Housing Minister and said that he had not built a single house for the constituency.

Speaking at Karya Village of Nanjanagudu Taluk of Varuna Assembly constituency, Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that no matter how much hate politics is done, it will not happen.

“BJP candidate Housing Minister Somanna has not given a house. Not one house was given to the entire state. How can those who don’t provide a house be pro-poor. I have constructed 15 lakh houses when I was Chief Minister. BJP has not allotted a single house, he said.

BJP, JD (S) candidates have not done anything for our constituency. They are not in favour of Dalits and farmers and backward people. Corruption is going on in the state, he said.

It is 40 percent commission if we go to the Tahasildar’s office. Go to DC office 40 percent. Go to EO office, and 40% at police’s office, he alleged and lashed out at the BJP government.

“This is a Government that is full of corruption. If there is this Government, the State will not prosper and it should be removed,” he said.
