Mysuru: Police arrested two persons and recovered 14 two-wheelers worth over Rs. 15 lakh which was stolen from various parts of District since last three months.
The arrested have been identified as Karthik and Kiran Nayak, natives of Vidyaranyapura in City. It is said that the two are stealing bullet bikes for craze and selling it for cheaper prices, thus leading a lavish life.
On April 3 a bullet owner filed a complaint with Sriramapura Police Station that his bike was stolen. Police resumed investigation and managed to arrest the accused and recovered 9 bullet bikes, three honda activa, one pulsar and one Yamaha motor cycles. Police handed over the accused to judicial custody and investigation is on.
