Mysuru: The government agencies removed two smaller domes in response to the controversy over the domes on the bus stand that broke out in the City.
The main dome remained intact.
According to a press release issued by the local MLA S. A. Ramadas, two smaller domes were removed to put an end to the controversy
Earlier his party colleague MP Pratap Simha warned about demolishing all the domes alleging that the structure looked like gumbaz.
The controversy has caused embarrassment to BJP as the MP was critical of his party colleague S. A. Ramadas who designed these domes on the bus stand citing the Mysuru palace model.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had assured that he will send a committee to submit a report.
