Mysuru: Large and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani said that as a Kannadiga, he loves Kannada but there is nothing wrong in considering Hindi as national language. However, he asserted that he comes from a rural background and has a special love for Kannada.
Reacting to actor Ajay Devgn’s tweet, he said that the demand to make Hindi the national language has been there, and it should not be mistaken.
Learning more languages will only enrich culture,” said Nirani adding that though English is not the local language, it helps one communicate in foreign countries.
