Mysuru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Thursday June 23 asserted that there is a Congress wave in the State and the party will return to power in 2023.
He was addressing the party workers at the Nava Sankalp Chintan Shivir held in the City. The recent win in MLC polls is an indication that Congress will return to power. It is now upto party workers to work in unison and strive to win 2023 elections, he observed.
Speaking to mediapersons before the event, Siddaramaiah said that the anti-defection law must be strengthened to stop horse-trading, a practice that has been made normal by Karnataka BJP and now has spread across the nation including the ongoing Maharashtra debacle.
