Mysuru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Saturday took over the probe into the suicide case of Ramesh K C, driver of a Karnataka Administrative Service officer, Bheema Nayak.
The CID officials gathered all documents related to the case from the Superintendent of Police in Mandya. It is gathered, a team has been sent to look for the accused KAS officer Bheema Nayak, who is on the run.
It may be recalled, Ramesh committed suicide by consuming poison on Wednesday. In his death note, Ramesh alleged that Bheema Nayak, a special land acquisition officer based in Bengaluru had threatened him over money issues and also that Nayak had helped launder Rs 100 crore for mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy daughter’s wedding.
