Mysuru: In a story that can well be a plot for a Bollywood flick, a young girl hired contract killers to kill her lover who refused to tie the knot with her. However, the murder plan went awry at N R Mohalla in Mysuru and in the bid the youth and his father sustained severe injuries.
Moin Ahmed and his father Mukhthar are the victims. As per hospital sources Mukhthar is out of danger, while Moin’s condition is critical.
Mukhthar is an electrical contractor in Mysuru City Corporation and Moin used to assist his father in the business. Moin got acquainted to a girl named Monisha over Facebook and soon the two realised that they were in love with each other. When Moin’s parents learnt about the relationship, they warned him against it and had clearly said that they would never agree to get the two married off. Raged by Moin’s family’s stand, Monisha had called Moin late on Sunday night and threatened him. When he refused to budge down to her demands, she is said to have hired contract killers, said complainants in their complaint to N R Police.
