Mysuru: Two youths sustained injuries when their Maruti Brezza SUV collided with the road median and flipped multiple times on the Outer Ring Road yesterday morning.
The injured are identified as Preetham, 24, from Ramakrishnanagar, who was driving the SUV, and Gautham, 20, from Panchamantra Road in Kuvempunagar.
The incident occurred as the youths were traveling on the Ring Road in their Maruti Brezza SUV (KA-09-MC-4969), heading from Bogadi towards Dattagalli. Preetham lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit the road median between KEB Junction and Sa Ra Convention Hall. The SUV flipped four to five times before coming to a stop.
Passersby and police officers quickly arrived at the scene, assisting the profusely bleeding youths and transporting them to a nearby private hospital. Both are reported to be out of danger.
KR Traffic Police have registered a case and seized the SUV for further investigation.
