Mysuru: Mysuru MP Pratap Simha lashed out at the Congress party by comparing the party (and its members) to a ‘mosquito’.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday, December 24, he said, “Congress party is like a mosquito which goes in search of a puddle. Wherever there is Congress, it is sure that there lies illiteracy, exploitation, unemployment, and poverty.”
Condemning the violent protests throughout the country over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Simha claimed that Congress had a role in the violence. He said, “It is the Congress party which is involved in the violent protest against the CAA. It has used some of the miscreants. The violent protests are staged by ‘baby Tipu’s’ of former chief minister Siddaramaiah. They have not even spared the patients in the hospital as they have closed the doors of the hospital and behaved inhumanely with them.”
Furthermore, he blamed Congress for inflicting communal violence in the name of CAA and playing ‘backdoor politics’ by creating a ruckus wherever there is a BJP government in the state.
