Mysuru: Neha Saran has topped the list by bagging 16 gold medals and 4 cash prizes at the 97th annual convocation of the University of Mysore (UoM) on Tuesday.
Daughter of Sadaram, a Indian Navy officer and Santra, hailing from Rajasthan, Saran completed M.Sc in Chemistry and aspires to get into teaching after completing her Phd. Neha did her schooling in Goa, Cochin and Chennai followed by graduation at Regional Institute of Education and Post-Graduation in Manasagangotri.
C. Manjunath, a visually impaired candidate with an MA in Political Science followed by Doctorate in the subject also has braved all odds in life to succeed in educational career. Born to late Chandrachari and Susheelamma of Mandya, Manjunath is an active member of ABVP. Manjunath is presently working as guest lecturer at Maharani’s College and aspires to do Post-doctoral Fellowship and intends to set up Skill Development Institute.
