Piriyapatna: A-56-year old died after being electrocuted while attempting to start the bore well on her property on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as K. Gayatri, 56, wife of H. S. Krishna Gowda from Koppal. It is said that Habaturu Kempegowda of the taluk, was operating the starter box at the back of her house around 10 am when the incident occurred.
Upon returning from his farm work, Gayatri’s husband Krishna Gowda discovered her near the starter box and immediately sought medical assistance from the town’s public hospital.
Following this devastating event, Sagar, their son filed a complaint at a local police station.
