Infact, I am getting the opportunity to be an RJ in the station and this is something I have wanted to try for a while. I have no doubt that with its on-air and all the on-ground events, Mirchi will become a part of the social and cultural fabric of Mysuru very soon.” Yaduveer’s Mysuru Diary programme will be on air from April second week.
Bhanu Pratap Singh Chauhan, Cluster Head of Karnataka, Mirchi said, “India’s No. 1 radio station, Mirchi launched its 67th station today in the Cultural Capital of Karnataka, Mysuru. Mirchi Mysore’s playlist will comprise 100% Kannada, giving the listeners non-stop access to hot and happening Kannada music on a platter. The playlist is a result of careful research and talking to potential listeners in the city. Mirchi also promises to keep listeners hooked by taking up discussions on topics that are most relevant to the youth of today. Shows have been designed keeping in the mind the character of the city and its many nuances. The highlight of the newly launched station is that for the first time in the history of FM stations in India, the head of an erstwhile ruling family, Yaduveer Wadiyar will be turning an RJ on 104.8.”
