Addressing a packed audience of dignitaries, including law enforcement officials, senators, congressmen, attorneys, faith leaders, NGO members, and community members, D’Souza emphasized the importance of recognizing the signs of labor trafficking. In his inspiring speech, D’Souza also outlined the resources available to immigrants, including Continued Presence (C.P.) Status, U or T Visas, Permanent Residency Cards, and ultimately U.S. Citizenship. These resources, he noted, are crucial steps towards achieving ultimate freedom for survivors.
