Shivamogga: In a heartwarming gesture, a farmer from Harapanahalli, Vijayanagara district, took 10 women farm workers on their first-ever flight to Goa.
Vishwanath, an areca farmer from Shiraganahalli village, frequently travels by air. When his farm laborers expressed their wish to experience air travel, he decided to make it happen. Initially, he had planned a pilgrimage to Tirupati, but due to unavailability of flights, he arranged a Goa trip instead.
On Tuesday, the group boarded a Star Air flight from Shivamogga airport to Goa. Vishwanath shared that they would return on February 20, making this a memorable journey for the workers.
