Kalaburagi: Recently, following instances of stone pelting on the Vande Bharat Express and the Kalaburagi-Bidar passenger train, another incident has occurred near Babalada village in Kalaburagi taluk.
In the recent incident that happened on the night of July 19, some people threw stones at the Basava Express train. Someone threw a stone at the Basava Express train near Babalada village in Kalaburagi taluk. As a result, the glass of the AC A1 coach of the train was shattered and some passengers suffered minor injuries in the incident. Stones were also thrown on the engine of the train and the glass was broken. The Basava Express train runs daily between Bagalkote and Mysore, plying through Kalaburagi, Wadi, and Yadgiri routes. A case has been registered in this regard at Wadi Railway Police Station.
