Bidar: Two boys died after falling into a pond at Bemalakheda village in Bidar taluk. The deceased have been identified as Ganesh (10) and Sainath (15).
One of the boys had ventured to the pond to collect water when he accidentally slipped and fell into the pit.
Upon hearing his cries for help, the second boy rushed to assist him. Unfortunately, he also got trapped and lost his life due to suffocation in the water.
Fire brigade personnel quickly responded to the scene and successfully retrieved the boys’ bodies from the pit. The Bemalakheda police arrived at the location and arranged for post-mortem examinations on the bodies. Meanwhile, the anguished cries of the deceased boys’ family members had grown louder and more intense.
