Pramod, a dedicated MESCOM employee from Hebri, has garnered widespread acclaim for his remarkable act of service after he swam across a lake to address an electricity issue in Shivapura Moodsalu. The village was facing power outages due to a snapped electricity cable, which prompted residents to reach out to MESCOM for assistance.
Given the challenging terrain, reaching the village required crossing a stream, a task that discouraged others from attempting to help. However, Pramod was determined to assist the villagers. Without hesitation, he swam across the lake, repaired the faulty electrical line, and then made his way back.
His heroic actions were captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media, earning him admiration and gratitude from the community and beyond.
Originally from Chennagiri in Davanagere, Pramod has been working with MESCOM in Hebri for the past two years. His swift response and commitment to serving the community exemplify the spirit of public service.
