Mother and three children go missing in Udupi

Lakshmavva Kumar Malavattar (30) and her three young children — Apoorva (7), Shreya (5), and Manoj (2) — have been reported missing from their home in Doddangudde, Shivalli village, Udupi. The family was last seen leaving their residence on December 4, and no trace of their whereabouts has been found since.

Descriptions of the missing family:

  • Lakshmavva Kumar Malavattar: 5’1”, medium build, wheatish complexion, oval face, fluent in Kannada and Lamani.
  • Apoorva: 3’1”, medium build, wheatish complexion, round face, speaks Kannada.
  • Shreya: 3’5”, medium build, wheatish complexion, round face, speaks Kannada and Lamani.
  • Manoj: 2’8”, medium build, wheatish complexion, round face.

The Udupi Town Police have issued an urgent public notice seeking assistance in locating the family. Residents are requested to report any sightings or relevant information to the police without delay.
