A pre-university (PU) girl student has been the target of a POCSO case at the Amasebail police station. The accused lured the girl, drove her about, harassed her sexually, and threatened her with explicit images.

For the previous year, the victim and the accused, Shreya Naika, a Shankaranarayana resident, had a connection in which she was promised marriage.
In line with the accusation, Shreya Naika allegedly drove the victim to a desolate wooded region a year prior and had sex with her there. He continued to have many sexual encounters with the victim over the year. He also took explicit pictures of the female to utilize as leverage.
A complaint has been filed against Shreya Naika under the POCSO Act.
