Udupi: A delegation from the Udupi Bar Association, headed by president Renold Praveen Kumar, met the newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Hariram Shankar, and extended a warm welcome by presenting him with a floral bouquet.
During the courtesy visit, the delegation urged the SP to prioritize law and order, and to take effective steps to ease traffic congestion within Udupi city. They also highlighted the issue of space limitations at the Udupi City Police Station, requesting that the Women’s Police Station, which currently operates from the top floor of the same building, be shifted to a more appropriate location.
The Bar Association members further invited the SP for a visit to their premises to engage in a formal interaction with the legal fraternity. SP Hariram Shankar welcomed the suggestion and assured them that he would attend the session in the near future.
The delegation included Bar Association office-bearers Rajesh A.R., Bailoor Ravindra Devadiga, Santosh Moodubelle, Jayakrishna Alva, and Aaroor Sukesh Shetty.
