Udupi: In a tragic accident, a cement-laden lorry overturned in Byndoor, Udupi district, resulting in the death of the driver, identified as Damodar Yadav (55), a resident of Jharkhand.
The incident occurred while the lorry was en route to Mangaluru from Lokapur. According to preliminary reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading it to overturn, which resulted in his death on the spot. Local authorities have registered a case at Byndoor police station and are investigating the cause of the accident.
