Udupi: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by the Udupi District Civil Committee and Mitra School of Nursing, with a giant national flag displayed outside the Civil Committee office as part of the celebrations.

A 20×14-foot Tricolour was put up in front of the Civil Committee office, adding a special visual element to the Independence Day programme and reflecting the patriotic spirit of the occasion.

The large national flag became the centrepiece of the celebration, with organisers using the display to mark the significance of India’s 80th Independence Day.

The 20×14-foot flag was prominently placed in front of the Civil Committee office, allowing members of the committee, nursing students and others attending the programme to participate in the celebrations.

The event brought together representatives of the Civil Committee and Mitra School of Nursing, creating an opportunity for students and community members to observe the national occasion collectively.

Bhima Jewellers manager attends as chief guest

Bhima Jewellers manager Ashish attended the programme as the chief guest and conveyed his Independence Day greetings to those present.

He extended his wishes to the organisers, students and members of the Civil Committee on the occasion.

The participation of representatives from the local business community added to the gathering and highlighted the involvement of different sections of society in Independence Day celebrations.

Nursing students participate

Mitra School of Nursing principal Vanitha was among those present at the programme.

Nursing students also participated in the Independence Day celebration, joining the Civil Committee members in marking the national occasion.
