In response to the increasing frequency of natural calamities, the Udupi District Working Journalists’ Association (UDWJA), in collaboration with the Udupi Patrika Bhavan Committee, is organizing a significant event titled ‘Artificial Flood Menace – Fire Disaster – Landslide: A Discussion.’ The programme is scheduled for August 3, Saturday, at 10:30 am at the Udupi Patrika Bhavan.
At a press conference held on August 1 at the Udupi Press Club, UDWJA President Rajesh Shetty Alevoor emphasized that the association’s efforts extend beyond journalism, reflecting a deep social commitment. He noted that the upcoming event aims to address pressing issues related to natural calamities, which have become increasingly relevant.
