Urgent Resolution Required For Delayed Infrastructure Projects In Udupi

New Delhi, Jun 26: Despite the end of the tender period, several critical infrastructure projects in Udupi district remain unresolved, including the underpass at Santhekatte-Kallianpur, the overbridge at Indrali, delays in land acquisition at Malpe, and the halted national highway work from Tanikodu Gate to SK Border. Udupi-Chikkamagaluru’s newly elected Lok Sabha member, Kota Srinivas Poojary, met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in Delhi to urgently address these issues.

During the meeting, Minister Gadkari responded promptly, issuing immediate orders to the concerned authorities to expedite the completion of these projects without further delay. He assured MP Kota Srinivas Poojary that all pending projects would be inaugurated by December.

The meeting was also attended by Union Minister V Somanna, MP B Y Raghavendra, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, and other dignitaries, highlighting the collective effort to resolve the infrastructural delays affecting Udupi district.
