The ambulance was carrying four individuals, including the patient, Kamala Patagar, who had suffered a stroke, and the driver, Somanath Nayak. Both Patagar and Nayak sustained minor injuries in the accident. Fortunately, the other occupants, relatives of Patagar, were not seriously harmed.

Emergency services were quick to respond to the scene, ensuring that the injured received prompt medical attention. Patagar and her relatives were transferred to Mangaluru in a separate ambulance to continue the necessary medical care. The incident has been reported within the jurisdiction of the Manki Police Station, and investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
