Muddebihal:Â An incident in Muddebihal involved a collision between a bus and a goods vehicle after the latter’s driver abruptly hit the brakes upon spotting a snake on the road. The bus belongs to a transport company and was en route from Bagalkote to Muddebihal, with both the driver of the goods vehicle and its passengers.
The sequence of events unfolded when the goods vehicle was traveling ahead of the bus. In an attempt to avoid running over a snake on the road, the driver suddenly applied brakes. Unfortunately, this resulted in the bus colliding with the rear end of the goods vehicle. As a result of this impact, Manohar Dasara, who was driving the bus, sustained injuries.
Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported among the other passengers, particularly women, who were promptly treated at local hospitals in Muddebihal. A case related to this incident has been registered at Muddebihal police station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
