During the event, the cricketers, led by head coach Rahul Dravid, engaged in discussions and exchanges with notable members of the Indian diaspora representing diverse fields.

Among the esteemed guests was Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, whose presence alongside cricket maestro Virat Kohli sparked viral interest in a shared photo.

Commenting on the snapshot, one social media user expressed admiration, dubbing both Kohli and Nooyi as their “two heroes,” acknowledging their profound influence in their respective domains.

BCCI officials including President Roger Binny, Secretary Jay Shah, and Vice President Rajeev Shukla also graced the occasion with their presence.

The Indian consulate’s official X account echoed enthusiastic support for Team India, expressing hopes for a triumphant return with the T20 World Cup trophy.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian squad remains undefeated in the tournament, securing victories against Ireland and Pakistan in Group A.

Next on their agenda is a match against tournament co-hosts USA, as the United States collaborates with the West Indies in hosting the prestigious cricket event.
