Udupi: On July 11, the Udupi city police arrested Safara, a 35-year-old woman from Bantwal, for allegedly providing shelter and financial support to Isaac, an accused in the Udupi gang war case.
Safara reportedly offered Isaac both refuge and monetary assistance, aiding him in evading the authorities. Following her arrest, the police produced Safara before the Udupi court. The court has subsequently ordered judicial custody for her.
This arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation of the Udupi gang war case, highlighting the police’s commitment to apprehending those who support criminal activities.
