Mysuru: Yuva Dasara 2026 is set to feature a five-day line-up of popular singers, musicians and Sandalwood stars, with actor, choreographer and director Prabhu Deva scheduled to inaugurate the cultural extravaganza on October 13. The event will be held from October 13 to 17 at a 100-acre open ground near the Jwalamukhi Tripura Sundari Temple in Uttanahalli, on the outskirts of Mysuru.
The Mysuru Yuva Dasara Sub-Committee-2026 has scheduled programmes between 5.30 pm and 10.30 pm each day. Local artistes and performers selected from different parts of the State and elsewhere will take the stage in the first part of the evening, while the main artistes are scheduled to perform from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Prabhu Deva to inaugurate Yuva Dasara
Prabhu Deva, known for his work as an actor, choreographer and director, will inaugurate Yuva Dasara on October 13. Mysuru District Minister Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah is scheduled to be the chief guest at the opening programme.
The opening night will also feature music composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath and his troupe. Singers V. Aabi, Aziz, Vasuki Vaibhav, Sai Vignesh, Ananya Bhat, Mangli, Jaskaran Singh and Aishwarya Rangarajan are among those listed for the opening-day performance, along with other singers.
Ajaneesh Loknath is known for composing music for Kannada films including Rangitaranga, Kirik Party, Avane Srimannarayana, Vikrant Rona and Kantara.
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy to take the stage
October 14 will feature the renowned musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
The trio comprises composer-singer Shankar Mahadevan, guitarist Ehsaan Noorani and keyboardist-composer Loy Mendonsa. Their performance will form the second major musical evening of Yuva Dasara 2026.
The appearance adds a Hindi music component to the five-day programme, which also includes performances by singers associated with Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and other Indian-language music industries.
Sid Sriram scheduled for October 15
Multilingual singer Sid Sriram is scheduled to perform on October 15.
Known for his work across several Indian-language film industries, Sid Sriram has performed songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Marathi, among other languages. His inclusion gives Yuva Dasara another major contemporary playback singer for the 2026 edition.

October 16 has been designated as Sandalwood Nights, bringing together actors and singers from the Kannada film industry.

Sandlas has performed in Hindi and Punjabi music and is known for songs including Yaar Na Miley from Kick and Illegal Weapon 2.0 from Street Dancer 3D. Star of Mysore had earlier reported that she was among the artistes being considered for the event.
