In a devastating road accident at Gudipalli village, Kolar district, four individuals lost their lives, and one person sustained severe injuries on Wednesday, officials confirmed.
The incident occurred around 4:15 PM when a pickup vehicle carrying empty tomato crates reportedly collided head-on with two motorcycles. All four riders were killed instantly at the scene.
A pedestrian walking along the roadside was critically injured in the crash. “The injured individual is currently in the ICU on ventilator support,” said a senior police officer.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident and are in the process of registering a case to determine its cause.
