The extensive security arrangements include:

- Personnel Deployment: Assignment of 4 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), 16 police inspectors, 32 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs), 75 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and 410 head constables and police constables.
- Additional Forces: Inclusion of 4 Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) personnel, 2 District Armed Reserve (DAR) personnel, and 500 home guards.

- Enhanced Patrolling: Increase in patrolling with 20 additional vehicles.
- Drone Monitoring: Utilisation of drones during Ganapati Visarjana days for aerial surveillance.
These measures follow a controversial incident from last year during the Ganesha idol immersion procession in Gangavati, where an aarti was lit near Jamia Masjid and provocative slogans were shouted, leading to the suspension of three policemen. This year, precautions have been put in place to avoid any similar disturbances.
The police have already conducted 237 peace meetings led by senior officers and 428 peace meetings at the beat level throughout the district. The public is encouraged to report any significant information via the 112 helpline.
With over 1,500 public Ganesha idols expected to be installed this year, the Koppal police are committed to upholding peace and harmony during the festivities.
