New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi concluded his Ayurvedic wellness treatment at the renowned Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala in Kerala and returned to the national capital. He expressed that his time in Kottakkal had been a revitalizing experience.
Rahul Gandhi had sought treatment for his knee injury issue at the Arya Vaidya Sala, where he stayed for a week under the care of Dr PM Varier and his team.
In a Facebook post, Rahul Gandhi extended his heartfelt gratitude to Dr PM Varier and his team, as well as the trustees and officials of the Arya Vaidya Sala for their love and care during his stay.
During his visit to Kerala, Rahul Gandhi had the opportunity to meet the esteemed Jnanpith Awardee, MT Vasudevan Nair, whom he described as a doyen of Malayalam literature with an illustrious career spanning six decades.
He also attended a condolence meeting organized by the Congress party in memory of former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who passed away recently.
Additionally, Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the Sri Viswambhara Temple situated on the Arya Vaidya Sala premises and enjoyed a Kathakali performance at PSV Natyasangham, a well-known cultural centre.
