Kareena Kapoor Khan, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, has a taste for comfort food that many can relate to. Despite her fame, the actress gravitates toward simple, hearty meals that bring comfort to her day. Although she’s a Punjabi at heart, Kareena has a special fondness for Sindhi cuisine, thanks to her half-Sindhi mother.

In a recent interview, Bebo shared that on Sundays, her family comes together for a traditional meal featuring Sindhi classics like Sindhi kadhi, aloo tuk, crispy koki, and sometimes biryani. The actress has also been spotted enjoying these flavorful dishes with her crew, often pairing Sindhi kadhi with rice, saag, and crispy papad for a satisfying meal.

A significant part of her fondness for Sindhi food comes from her upbringing. Her mother, who is of Sindhi descent, would often prepare the crispy and flavorful Sindhi Koki for breakfast. This traditional flatbread, made with wheat flour, onions, coriander, and a crispy outer layer, has become a regular feature in Kareena’s Sunday morning spread.

Kareena even mentioned how her eating habits resemble those of her father, Randhir Kapoor, further reflecting her deep connection to her cultural roots. Whether it’s a casual meal or an extravagant dinner, Kareena never misses an opportunity to indulge in her favorite Sindhi dishes.
