Puttur: Temple assistant priest found in inebriated state

Puttur: An assistant priest who was thrown out from the job at the temple due to his misbehaviour was found in an inebriated state by the Hoysala Police near Darbe here.

The man has been identified as Shankar Hebbar from Sirsi. He was admitted to the hospital by the Police.

It is said that he had come to Puttur eight months ago as an assistant priest and was debarred from the job 20 days ago due to misbehaviour. Despite losing job he continued to stay in Puttur was found in an inebriated state on the night of Sunday July 24.
