St Philomena College student wins Silver at South India Athletics

Puttur: In a remarkable feat, Varsha, a first-year BCA student at St Philomena College Puttur, secured a Silver Medal in the Hammer throw event during the South India Amateur Athletic Meet held on October 16th in Warangal, Telangana State.

The Athletic Federation of India,New Delhi, organized the 34th South Zone Junior Athletic Championship 2023 for seven states at Warangal from 15 October to 17 October. Varsha is the proud daughter of Sundar Gowda and Varija Gowda, residing in Panglai, Puttur.

Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, the College Principal, warmly congratulated Varsha on her remarkable success.
