Madikeri: The tragic Brahmagiri landslide has left five individuals including Talacauvery chief priest Narayan Achar and his wife missing.
The rescue operations have been on to find the missing individuals. Amid this, dead body of one person has bee recovered, but the remaining missing persons have not been found yet. The recovered dead body is of the brother of Narayan Achar, it is said.
Two daughters of Achar- Namitha and Sharada, both settled abroad have returned to Kodagu following the tragic episode.
They held a talk with district in-charge minister V Somanna, Deputy Commissioner Anis Kanmani Joy, MP Prathap Simha and others.
With the chief priest going missing, rituals and prayers have not been held at the Talacauvery temple over the last five days.
NDRF and other teams are working relentlessly to find the missing persons.
