Mangaluru: The 11th IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics, Drives, and Energy Systems (PEDES) was inaugurated today at NITK, Surathkal, bringing together global experts to discuss cutting-edge advancements in power electronics, energy systems, and sustainability. Organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NITK, the event will run from December 18 to 21, 2024, and is supported by the IEEE Industry Applications Society, with co-sponsorships from the IEEE Power Electronics Society, Industrial Electronics Society, and Power & Energy Society.

This year’s conference is historic, marking the first-ever Woman General Chair, Dr. Kalpana R from NITK, and achieving record-breaking milestones in submissions, presentations, and participation.
