Mangalore: A 14-year-old boy, who was placed in a children’s home in Bondel, Mangalore, has gone missing. The boy was handed over to the home by Vitla police on June 28 in connection with a criminal case. The housekeepers of the home had admitted him to class 10 to ensure his education continued uninterrupted.
However, when the boy was sent to school on June 22, he failed to attend classes. Upon inquiry, the headmaster informed the housekeeper that the boy was absent. The housekeeper has since filed a complaint with Kavur police, reporting the boy missing. An investigation is underway to locate the missing boy and determine the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
