Mangaluru — In a landmark achievement for Mangaluru and the academic community, Alisha Ruth Saldanha, a student of St Agnes College (Autonomous), has secured All-India Rank 2 and World Rank 11 in the ACCA March 2025 examination.
A standout among thousands of global candidates, Alisha — from the 2021–2024 batch — has also been recognised as India’s top resident affiliate, cementing her place as one of the country’s brightest accounting talents.
Her outstanding performance across key ACCA papers speaks volumes of her dedication:
-
Financial Management – World Rank 2, All-India Rank 1
Audit and Assurance – World Rank 6, All-India Rank 1
Advanced Financial Management – World Rank 8, All-India Rank 3
Now working as an audit associate at Grant Thornton, Bengaluru, Alisha credits her success to “years of focused effort and the constant support of family, faculty, and peers.”
Her parents, Vernon and Patra Saldanha, played a central role in creating a nurturing environment. Her younger sister, Serena Saldanha, also studying at St Agnes, is following a similar path of academic excellence.
The college principal called Alisha’s performance “a moment of immense pride for the institution,” praising her as an inspiration to ACCA aspirants across India. Senior faculty described her journey as “a beacon of what discipline and support can achieve.”
Alisha’s success has elevated St Agnes College’s standing as a centre for global academic achievement in finance and professional education.
