An autorickshaw driver, identified as Abbas, succumbed to his injuries following an accident at Ukkuda Darbe in the Vittal police station limits on Thursday night. According to police reports, a car collided with the autorickshaw driven by Abbas on the Kalladka-Saradka state highway.
Despite immediate efforts to rush Abbas to Vittal government hospital, he tragically passed away on the way due to the severity of his injuries.
A case has been registered under BNS Sections 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 106 (causing death by negligence), and further investigations are underway.
