A State Bank of India relationship manager, Chaitanya H.C., has filed a police complaint accusing a man of threatening him with a pistol during a visit to discuss a loan repayment.
Keerthi Akhilesh, a resident of Balnadu village, Puttur Taluk, had taken a loan of Rs 2 crore, which had become a non-performing asset (NPA) due to non-repayment. On September 25, Chaitanya and his colleagues visited Akhilesh’s house to discuss the issue.
Akhilesh forcibly detained them and, along with his father Krishna Kishore, allegedly threatened Chaitanya with a pistol. A case has been registered, and the police are investigating.
