Mangaluru: Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) conducted an orientation and induction programme for first-year students on the theme “Nurturing the Leaders of Tomorrow” at the BIT Mangalore campus on Monday, 23 September 2024.
Mr. Mohammed Ali Roomi, representing the Bearys Group, was the Guest of Honor and Resource Person. In his address, he emphasized the importance of Clarity of Mind and Purity of Heart as foundational principles for success at BIT. He highlighted the institute’s focus on overall personality development, enhancing leadership, and technical skills among students. He encouraged students to engage in meaningful introspection to define their purpose over the next four years.
Mr. Roomi also stressed the significance of regular attendance, holistic development, and effective communication skills. He urged the new entrants to uphold the dignity and respect of their peers, promoting a safe and inclusive campus culture.
The orientation session included interactive discussions with various stakeholders from academia and industry, providing the new batch of students with a comprehensive overview of the opportunities available at BIT Mangalore Campus for holistic development. These sessions aimed to help students build a roadmap for their personal and professional growth.
Feedback from newly joined students has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants benefiting immensely from the informative insights provided by Mr. Roomi.
