Mangaluru: A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a horrific road accident after his bike reportedly collided with a truck on the Ekkuru railway bridge on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sudhish C.K. (26), a resident of Pathur, Bakrabhaila in Vorkady.
Accident on railway bridge
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred on the Ekkuru railway bridge when the motorcycle ridden by Sudhish collided with a truck. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in critical injuries to the rider.
Local residents and passers-by rushed to the spot after the accident and alerted the authorities.
Rider dies of injuries
Sudhish suffered grievous injuries in the collision and succumbed to them. The incident sent shockwaves among his family members and residents of his native place.

The body was later shifted for post-mortem examination.
