In a daring burglary at Balkunje Neeralike under Mulki police station limits, thieves made away with cash and valuables amounting to more than Rs 2 lakhs. The incident came to light when Shekhabba’s daughter woke up at 4:30 AM and discovered the theft.
According to reports, the thieves had locked the front door from the outside and gained entry into the house by breaking open the rear door using a rod. The burglary occurred during the early hours of Thursday, catching the family by surprise.
Upon receiving the report, Mulki police promptly responded and visited the scene of the crime. They were accompanied by fingerprint experts and a dog squad to gather evidence that could lead to identifying the perpetrators.
The burglary has left the residents of Balkunje Neeralike shaken, highlighting concerns over security in the area. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen items.
