The incident occurred on Mangalore’s Koolur Route 13F. Passengers were going about their journey on the Krishna Prasad bus when the student experienced heart attack symptoms. Acting swiftly, bus driver Gajendra Kunder and conductor Mahesh Pujari turned the bus into a makeshift ambulance. They engaged the siren and sped through 6 kilometers in just 6 minutes to reach Father Muller Hospital in Kankanadi.
Their quick response was crucial, ensuring the student received timely medical attention and ultimately saving their life.
