Beltangady: A car collided with an electricity pole along the national highway near Chibidre on Sunday morning, damaging the pole and disrupting power supply to Chibidre and several surrounding villages.
The accident occurred when the car was travelling from Kottigehara towards Ujire. According to the available information, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle near Chibidre, following which the car veered towards the roadside and crashed into an electricity pole.
