The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police have arrested a 25-year-old man, identified as Abutahir alias Anwar from Belthangady, for drug peddling in the Padil area. The arrest followed a tip-off about drug smuggling activities involving a two-wheeler.
During the operation, police seized 4 kg of ganja valued at approximately ₹1 lakh, along with a mobile phone and the vehicle used for transportation.
