On Thursday, CCB police arrested three individuals, including two who had been absconding abroad, in connection with a 2023 dacoity at the home of businessman Aikala Harish Shetty. The arrested include Husainabba alias Suhail (33), Zubair from Kolnadu, and Kalam from Kasargod.
Authorities seized a fake passport, mobile phones, a pistol, live bullets, and a car from the accused. Husainabba and Zubair had fled the country using fake passports, reportedly arranged by Kalam. Mulki police, after receiving a tip-off about the suspects’ return to Kolnadu, conducted a raid under the leadership of CCB ACP Manoj Kumar Nayak, leading to their arrest.
