Mangaluru: A newly-equipped children’s play area was inaugurated at Kulshekar Chowki by the Vishwas Heritage Owners Association. The event was graced by the association’s president, Manjunath S Jogi.
As the chief guest, M Salim, the association’s vice president and a businessman, spoke about the importance of children in society. He expressed, “The happiness of children brings immense joy to parents, and we can see God in children.” His words highlighted the significance of nurturing the younger generation.
Secretary Lavanya emphasized the crucial role of sports in the holistic development of children. Meanwhile, joint secretary Leo D’Souza thanked the generous donors who contributed to making the play area a reality.
The event also saw the presence of association members Raghavendra Poojary, Irene D’Souza, and Pawan Kumar. The program was compered by Monisha, with a vote of thanks delivered by secretary Lavanya BV.
